ok my email is not working!! My I have about 5 million eyelets..lol not TONS of shapes.. but I have alot of colors and shapes.. and diff sizes.. maybe if you email me??? lol sorry to be a pain

sounds good.. I can do personal and swaps.. Im addicted to eyelets!

No, I was thinking just like other swaps. Each person would send in five sets of eyelets, each containing a 10-20 eyelets. each set could be the same or each set could be different. A set could be 10 round red eyelets, or it could be 20 blue stars, or it could be 2-blue round, 2-silver stars, 2 shamrocks, 2-yellow suns, 4-red round. Each set could be different as long as there was appox. the same number in each set. You would get five different sets back, increasing your variety of eyelets. what do you think? Soni

Soni, I think it's a good idea for a swap, but if I may play devil's advocate? Wouldn't it be better to do individually, as if you don't know what you're getting, like in a swap, you could end up getting more that you won't use?

True story. I was just thinking that if we do a full box. You kinda have to put back in what you took out so if there were only twenty eyelets in there it would be hard to swap out your eyelets for more of an assortment.

What if we do an eyelet box? (Just thinking out loud now) Kinda like the swap box, but just different kinds of eyelets in it. We could make a list and send it from one to the other like the swap box, then you could take out what you wanted and send it on to the next person.

To get the box going, each person that signed up would send in, 20-30, (or we could decide on a number) to start the box off. You would still swap eyelets out when the box got to you. For example if you took out 4 suns, 2 shamrocks, 6 round blue, 4 round silver you would have to put in 16 different eyelets. When the box made it all the way around we could start a new list and send it back out again.

What do you think?

That would be a lot less expensive to mail, also. I could have bought 3 times a much as I took out of the scrapbox with what it cost to mail it to the next person. It cost almost $4 more for me to mail the box than it cost the person who mailed it to me. It must have been a greater distance. You would need a whole lot of eyelets to weigh as much as that box of paper. Peggy

So do you all want me to do it? Or would you rather exchange just on the personal level?
