Re: letter positioning software

I use Journaling Genie software, which has most of the features you describe. The downside is that the text blocks it creates are kind of small--maybe 3x5 on average. I've found that the easiest way to enlarge these small text boxes is to use a desktop publishing program, which many people don't have (I use Aldus PageMaker. It will probably work with MS Publisher). Other than that glitch, it's a great program.. Not only will it set various type circloes, triangles, and squares, but also spirals, swirls, stars, etc. I give this program 3 stars. ;-)

Can someone tell me if there is any software out there that will allow > me to position letters, for example in a Circle or Triangle or Square > type pattern, using a wide range of fonts? > > Ideally I would just be able to type the text on the screen then drag > and drop the letters in whatever pattern I want. - Thanks

There's a feature in both MS Word and MS Publisher called Word Art. You can take any font you have installed and manipulate it into different shapes. You can then make that text block as large or as small as you want.
