Scor it and Scor Pal; does anyone have either??

Just wanted to know anyone has either or both? If so, which do you like better/worse? Any info will be helpful in making a decision!! Blessings, Dorothy in NY

i have the scor it I think that is what it is. It is about 15" x 15" square with groves and gray. I do use it quite a bit so it was worth my purchasing it.

I don't have it, but every time I hear a crafter who has used it I go revisit it. Then I see the price and back off. I'd really like one, but not ready to pay the price. If only Michaels had it and I could use my 40% off coupon.

I have Scor-Pal and I chose that one because someone asked on either the Cricut or Split Coast board and the general consensus was for Scor-Pal.

I have to say I felt ripped off when it came, it cost me $52 with an extra score tool and shipping and basically it is a thin piece of plastic that if someone should step on it it would definately break. I realize that it makes it lighter to take to a crop but I don't want to have to worry that it is going to crack in transport. Realistically it should be priced at about $14.95. That said it does make things easier and the score markings make it easy to use.

Is it a fairly new product? If so, then maybe it will go down in price. I saw the video about the Waterfall cards and that's the first time I have heard of the product. But, being in Canada, maybe it's not here yet? The Waterfall cards is fabulous. Going to try that for sure!

I have the scor-it and it is a little heavy and has a metal strip down the middle for your scoring. I really like it. It does take a little practice getting used to because you can cut your paper if you apply to much pressure. So be careful at first until you learn. I have looked at the scor-pal but I am like the other person. Cheap plastic. Not for me for that price. Hope this helps. And yes I use mine all the time. It sits right on my desk next to my cutter.

I've used the Scor-it at my LSS and it's really nice. It's definitely an industrial strength item. I can't justify it right now since I don't do that many cards, but as I find myself getting more into cardmaking and papercrafting outside of scrapbooking, I might consider it.

Right now, I just change the shuttle on my cutterpede to the scoring shuttle and that works fine. It slows me down a bit to change, but it's not realy that big of a deal.
