September 11th Layout Text

Hi.

I just wanted to let you all know that after much soul searching, I have begun the journey to type in the "journalling" found under the pictures in my theme album "Sept 11, 2001"

Check in about a 1/2 hour and it should be done. pages.ivillage.com/mrsgoofy2b

I appreciate the courage you are showing doing this Kate. I hope that it is therapeutic rather than traumatic. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. {{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}

HI.

Just a note to say they are done. I think I need to sit and hug my husband.

Kate your pages and journaling are very moving. Thank you for sharing it. We visited the Ground Zero site on Thanksgiving Day and it was a very emotional experience for me. There was a soft, misty rain falling and everyone there day was quiet and very solomn.

No,

Thank you all for enabling me to try and revisit a day that has haunted me up to today and probably for a long while.

Scrapping is an outlet for me and the only thing that keeps me going.

Thanks to this site and my therapist, I have the courage to try different things and try and get published.

Hugs to everyone.

very moving Kate! It still brings tears to my eyes to read people's stories and think about the stress, suffering, and distress endured by so many. Thanks for sharing and I hope it's very therapeutic for you as time passes.

That is so nice Kate. I think that is a great thing you are doing. After I looked at yours, I thought it would be nice if I did a page lo on it. I'm in Indiana, but just to do one to remember the day and put how my actions where and what I was doing. So when I have grandkids, they can know.

I'll look forward to seeing your LO.

Wow. Honeslty, I think it's amazing that you're journaling this experience and sharing it. I can only imagine how traumatic it must've been to be in the thick of it.

Hi Jessica,

The scrapbook was done 3 years ago and this is the first time I have shared it with people other than family and my PTSD Therapist.

It needs to be remembered. For me at least it is time for me to deal with my emotions from that day.

The journaling is very touching Kate. I know it took me a while to do pages for 9-11 as I grew up not far from DC and the Pentagon, and live about an area from the Pennsylvania site.
