Trading Cards

Has anyone made trading cards? I need some ideas. My scrapbook book club is doing a trading card swap. They said the cards are to be 2.5x3.5 with a picture of ourselfe on one side with info such as favorite tools, scrapbook company, where from, etc........I have to make 14 cards. I have never seen these before. Help appreciated. Sandy

I've never heard of them, but then again, I'm new. Are you supposed to make 14 identical cards, one for each other member? Are you supposed to put your pic and info on the same side, or one on the face and one on the back? Maybe your club has done this before and they could show you the cards from last time?

I've never made them, but I know others on this group have posted them, and they're pretty neat. You can also find examples by googling "artist trading cards." They are also known as ATCs.

Hope that helps a bit -

Jessica

There is a card in my new pages folder that is something like a trading card. Each person in my scrapbooking group made a card and then we put them all together for an address book. This one is 4 x 6, but it would work in a smaller size. The pink square is where my address, phone number and email address are. I blocked them out for obvious reasons.

I saw these for the first time Sat. at a crop. A lady showed us how to make them and told us about trading them. I had never heard of them before.
