So now waitig on answer from either the retailer or Cricut what to do.

Anyhow just want to know who owns this machine

I bought one right before Christmas. I have used it several times and when I had a crop at my house several people used it also. I did get a little frusterated with it at first. It takes some practice to get it to cut right on different thicknesses of papers. I was having a hard time with thick cardstock. I have figured out how to cut it now though and I am enjoying using it.

I don't have any of the pages scanned that I have used the Cricut. Maybe I can get to that this afternoon.

Put in a complaint before you leave feedback through safe harbor. If it was clearly marked "NIB" and you received it cracked and not new then you have a case.

I got one from DH for Christmas and i love it. I want more cartridges though and they seem a little pricey to me. It came with a USB port and states that Cricut may be able to hook up to the computer at a later date. That would make it even more versatile. I have made 3 pages with it, and it was so easy, I dont want to use the same font on every page thought, I need another cartridge!!!

I had one since May. I lost the scrapper tool and can not replace it without buying a new tool kit so I haven't used it that much. I may sell it in the spring and get a wishblade because I don't like the new cartridges and I want to use the fonts on my pc.

I also posted this in another thread:

I got this from my QK club yahoo group. Our moderator posted this.

I went to the Premiere Gold Club Member's party last night and QK has released the mac daddy of all laser die cut machines. This small portable machine cuts shapes and letters from a 1/4 of an inch to 8 inches high, has prepaid downloadable cards for images and fonts, cuts true type fonts from your computer and is available in warehouse as we speak. The retail price is $369.

8 inches?!? Whoa. Pretty steep price, but sounds like a fun toy! :-) Thanks for the info, M-C!

The Silhouette is what it is called. I preordered one yesterday and should receive it mid February. It looks and works just like the Craft Robo according to people who have a Craft Robo. The Craft Robo is similiar to the Wishblade. This appears to be a lot cheaper in price as the Wishblade and the same if not better quality. J

Can you cut shapes with it from clip art?

I would imagine so since some of their downloads look like they will be shaper. Check out

Great! I think I'll wait a bit and see what others think when they get theirs before I plonk down the money. It would be nice to have the extra space that I would have if I were able to get rid of all the diecutters and dies that I have accumulated over the years.

I'm starting to think that I did the right thing in NOT buying a cricut!
