this quilt top

I have realized that I'm not exactly sure how to approach the assembly of this Jinny Beyer quilt top. The directions just say lay it out and sew it together. Hmmm. There must be some way of going about it that would be easier than other ways.

tube top pattern

I've made some scarves, hats and am now trying to find a pattern on the net for a tube top for my daughter before trying sleeve holes and necks and such. I've seen the Tube Top in a Jiffy on the net, but want something a bit less complicated ( no cable stitches for instance!).

Stove top bisque?

I hate to be the type of guy who asks a question first then goes and does a google search, but... I have been doing a bunch of tiny carvings (less than one inch in any direction) and driving them 20 miles away to have them fired and refired and refired. No, I can't afford a kiln yet ...

Zippers: Top to Bottom or Bottom to Top?

Which way do you sew your zippers in---(1) from the top to the bottom or (2) from the bottom to the top, or do you (3) start at the top, sew down, across and then back up? I've seen many different directions asserting all three methods. Which works best for you and why?
