Went off and bought myself a new overlocker suited to my needs (basic stuff only) A Janome. (Sorry Kate no Toyotas in my local shops here in far eastern Melbourne, Oz.)
Finished off the skirt I had half overlocked and pieced together. Simple a-line with yoke and drawstring waist. DH said it looked like a hessian sack. Well it is a fairly open weave suiting fabric but is shot with gold thread and has feathery tufty bits on it too. He Might get fed tonight. I even lined it all by myself. No, no pictures - don't know how. Just imagine a sparkly sack, apparently.
