I have been trying without success to get my Elna Pro 905DCX serger to coverstitch. I am an experienced serger and all the other usual utility stitches work just fine. However, with the coverstich (which should be easy with only 3 threads and 2 of them needle threads!) it seems the looper doesn't hook into the left needle thread - but I can't figure out why. I have messed with the tensions of all 3 areas, threaded, re-threaded and re-threaded again. The chainstich works just fine but when I add the 2nd needle and thread it for the coverstitch no luck.
