Hi,
I have made a skirt out of crinkle cotton, and since washing it, the fabric has gone flat. Is there any way of re-crinkling it?
Many thanks
Elizabeth

Check out the instructions at the bottom of this page:
Who'd have thought that wrinkled is more work than ironed?

Oh, dang, I meant "takes two people, *one* at each end"...
ROTFL!
Hang it up. Puff LOTS of steam at it from the iron, or boil a kettle close under it. Then hang it in the bathroom when you take a shower!

Oh, I dunno... I had a crinkle fabric top that used to crinkle up so much when you washed it that it HAD to be ironed, then re-crinkled! Lovely fabric, really nice top - complete PITA! And to top it all - I made the damned thing!
Re-wash it. Don't use fabric softener. Take a nylon stocking, or half of a pair of pantyhose and cut the foot off. Twist the damp skirt into a rope and pull it through the stocking so that you end up with a skirt sausage in a nylon casing. If it's hot out, put it outside, out of direct sunlight to dry. If it's cool or damp, let it dry in front of a fan.
