Update on the beasr serger

I packed up the beast drove 15 miles to the place I bought it. Sue the serger lady plugged it in, and it worked. She moved the needle to the right hand side and it workedagain. She tried about 5 diffferent setting and tension and it kept working. I can't explain, she can't explain it. I brought it home, plugged it in and it worked. This is not how I wanted to spend the morning. It's 90 out tooday, I have tons of sewing to get finished, I'm cooking up a storm for the Family reunion I'm running for DH's family and I'm tired. I'm also cranky, but I'll get over that. The darn thing was acting like a spoiled child. After i tried it at home DH wanted to know if it was really working fine or if I just said that so he wouldn't get upset. I told him I wasn't into pacifying anyone today I have too much to do. Now I'm off to clean up bedrooms for the adult children and families who are staying here this weekend. Michelle thanks for you encouraging words. Juno

"Juno" Snipped..... I can't explain, she can't explain it. I

Your welcome. I seem to recall someone telling a story about a sewing machine or serger that occasionally needed a car ride to work properly.

Mine has never done that, but on the other hand its only a three thread and doesn't hold a seam, so I am still jealous of yours!

Have fun with the re-union.

I am also supposed to be cleaning today, but it may have to wait until DH gets home to watch the kiddies.
