I bought a dyeable purse from a discounter expecting to be able to have someone dye it for me to the color I need. (I'm a bridesmaid.) But now I find out that you often order something in a color and they send it to you already dyed. Didn't seem to be an option with this purse from this discounter but I remember other purses came in a couple of colors. Now I have a white satin purse that I need to be champagne colored. Any suggestions?

if you are having shoes dyed as well, you should be able to take the purse with the shoes and have them done at the saem time. Most chain shoe stores (not shoe departments in department stores) will dye your shoes for you. Last time I needed them done, it was free if you bought the shoes there, and only a small amount if you had bought them in a different store.....probably be a small fee for doing the purse, but again, not sure...

Dance shops also do or have the resources to send out shoes and the like to be dyed.
