That is absolutely stunning. What a fantastic job you two did! Didn't hurt a bit to have a gorgeous bride, either. All that lovely hair -- and swimmer's body!
Thank you. It was intricate, but a lovely project to have.
The swimming did NOT help with the fitting! Loretta is lovely, but we made THREE corset toiles for this one!
And thank you. When I showed Su the photos on the stand, she said, 'Did we really MAKE that? Or is the museum coming to take it back!' It's amazing what a final pressing can do!
Whew! I would have gone bonkers when the supplier said the lining would not be available after all. Totally awesome job, Kate!
Still hoping for a tutorial on the corset, though... ;->
