I can only agree with "Fred". Janome are superb machines, and I have used many different makes over the years. A technician friend of mine tells me they are less likely to be in the workshop than any other brand.
Janome have a new TOL machine, so look out for some bargains from people wishing to upgrade. I am sure there will be many trade-ins around. Look for a 10001 which is also an embroidery machine.
