Does anyone in the US live close to an IKEA which sells fabric? My DD wants a few yards of:

Have you tried asking the Seattle store if they can order the stock in for you from another branch?

A little additional information: The IKEA "Stock Availability" link lists these locations as having that fabric: College Place, MD Conshohocken, PA Houston, TX New Haven (CT?) Paramus, NJ Philadelphia, PA Twin Cities Woodbridge, VA

I have asked DD to give me her yardage requirement, and if anyone can purchase this for me, you would have my eternal gratitude.

I am sorry I can no longer drive, Beverly, or I'd be happy to go to IKEA-Houston for you. This weekend, DS is not available to drive me. Emily

Emily, no need to apologize, I'm sure you would help if you could, and maybe someone else will be able to by my "personal shopper". ;-)

Unfortunately the Chicagoland store doesn't have fabric. I'm always looking for an excuse to go there.

I hear ya. I would drive to Renton, WA in a heartbeat, but they don't carry the fabric.

I live near the College Park, MD store. I can stop in over the weekend. Just let me know the yardage. The name will be easy to remember as it's the name of one of my dogs! grin

Hi Cappy,

Thanks so much for offering! A sewist from another group wrote this AM offering to get the fabric in her store in MN, but we don't know yet if they have it ~in stock~. May I put your offer "on hold"? I'll let you know if the other one falls through. Thanks again,

Absolutely... Just email my personal acct if you need it... I don't check here as often as I'd like! grin

Follow-up: "Cindy T. in MN, just a lurker on the sewbiz list" offered to purchase the fabric for DD, and it's on the way. The Internet is sooooo wonderful! My thanks to Cappy and Lex from alt.sewing for offering.
