Improvising Burger King Costume

I'd rather lurk much more before posting, but I'm currently panicing over a Burger King costume--obviously my priorities are a little strange.

I have been trying to get a Burger King costume for awhile now. I have that infamous mask, but I've been thwarted every time I've tried to order it online. With only a few days left before Halloween, I have to start thinking about a little DIY.

The best picture I could find on Google Image Search (for the uninitiated), is

doesn't include the bottom half, but that's mostly white tights that I already bought. It looks like the robe would be the most difficult thing, especially for somebody like who has limited experience with just making bags. My thought was to take some measurements off my bathrobe and get a bunch of fluff to go with it. How would the fur be sewed on?

For the undershirt, I'd probably just scrounge a white longsleeve shirt, dye it a gold color, and then sew some ribbon for the collar. Any suggestions from anybody that knows what the Burger King looks like?

My one regret is that everybody else seems to be on this bandwagon, but the costumes are out online. The only place left is eBay, but I don't have a Paypal account, the prices are high, and I only have days to spare. We already made the Burger King jack-o-lanterns so I'm gung-ho for this.

Looks like what you need is a furry turtle neck T shirt rather than a bath robe! I'd try to make the garment out of fur fabric rather than sew the fur onto something else. It isn't difficult to sew, but you need to take care. Look out for a pattern for something like that, and put a zip in it for ease of getting on and off.
