Oh what a grand day yesterday was....
Fresh almond/vanilla biscotti baking in the oven.... mmmm
And the UPS man at my door with my coat fabric. :) Yes, I did indeed hand him a baggy of biscotti. lol
Really, really lovely stuff. I've been petting it every time I go past the sewing room. LOL
'course I have some actual work to do before I can dive into it. Had 2 bridesmaids, the MOB and the AuntOB bring alterations the other night. Then another gal brought a skirt for some work the next day. So....you know what that means....my fabric is paid for now. ;)
Will keep you posted on how the coat goes.

Did anyone see the footage of Pres. Bush in New Mexico on yesterday's news? The clip of him giving a speech was at the New Mexico Military Institute. That's where my niece is a freshman cadet. She is in the choir and got to sing for the President while he was there (along with the rest of the choir.) She was in the 4th row behind him on the stage, and of course what I saw last night was only the first 2 1/2 rows of cadets. :( She was soooo excited about the whole thing. Talk about a memory she will have for a lifetime! Pretty darn cool.
