Lining a silk skirt

Hi.. I am making a lightweight A-line silk skirt which I plan to line. Am wondering if the lining should be as full as the skirt or if the silk would show off a little more with a slimmer lining. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Putting a ruffle of chiffon on a narrow satin ribbon on bottom of skirt to give it a little flair. Thank you for any comments. Ginger

I just made my DinL a sheer skirt with a full size lining.......I think the sheer would have showed up better with a narrower lining.......More like a slip under it instead of all the sheer lined........

I always line to the same width so that the lining swings with the skirt.

All the silk skirts I've had made in Thailand have lining that is slightly slimmer than the skirt. That way, the skirt kinda hangs separately from the lining.
