Making tape on curtain fabric

Any ideas on how to get masking tape sticky residue of thermal backed curtain fabric?

I bought from the sart of a roll and for some reason they put masking tape on the roll to hold it for shipping to the store.

Goo Gone. Test in an inconspicuous area first, or plan to put a tie- back in the vicinity.
