Beverly is a well respected long time member of this group. You on the other hand have just showed up and only to advertise. I, and I am sure you will hear this often, would suggest before you alienate any more potential customers lurk a bit in the group(s) and get a feel for the conversation and what is and is not acceptable. Google news Group etiquette. You just may learn something

If we need info, we know how to find it. We *don't* buy from spammers.

Better rethink your PR strategy. After such an unwarranted and illfounded attack, I wouldn't have your merchandise if you gave it to me.

You need to work on your people skills Missy Crankypants SPAM. I noticed you also posted to other sewing groups with your SPAM. The SPAM wasn't received well there either; that's because it was SPAM, not info. Anything from you, in the future, will now be blocked from my computer.........*PLONK*

"Judith Cook" top posted in message news: snipped-for-privacy@corp.supernews.com...

Where did I suggest you were"OT"? This newsgroup is for discussion *ONLY*. Advertisements are not allowed. Read the FAQ.

FYI, "BEI" are my initials, and my websites are informational only, *nothing* is for sale. And my life is quite satisfactory ATM, thanks.

I don't spam and never will, nor will I EVER buy from newsgroup spammers. I adhere strictly to the Boulder Pledge:

I have been 'lurking" in this group for quite some time...and I was the one attacked by one simple post. I have seen many advertisement posts in here...and my so-called members...one rule for everyone right?

Dear Judith..........

That's what they all say.............we consider it spam, and would like it very much if you quit posting altogether on this newsgroup........

Hate to tell you this Judith, but if you really were a long time lurker, you'd know already what happens when people post sale ads. If someone wants to share pictures of something and they have a site that also lists things for sale, they say "I wanted you to see pictures of this project. I have them up on my business site, so ignore that part, just look at this page." You would also know exactly who BEI is, and that Beverly is not only a long time poster here, she's one of the first to jump in and share her years of experience any time someone needs help. She's a really superb lady and I personally am very offended at the way you "spoke" to her in your reply to this thread.

The group has rules. And yes they are for everyone. You broke one. Suck it up. Act like a grown woman and not an adolescent slinging insults everywhere.

Hate it for you, but you also just shot yourself in the foot business-wise. Most of us here buy extensively online. Some of us buy sewing supplies Exclusively online. But we don't buy from people who don't respect the rules around here. Shame about how many potential customers you lost isn't it?

I appreciate all of you regulars here coming to my defense. Be assured this spammer will *not* get under my skin, let's all move on shall we? Whatcha sewing? ;-)
