OK ... Now I don't feel so crazy! I'm not the only bead-worrier out there. So tell me, did the beads / Superglue hold up during dry-cleaning?

Oh dear! My DD has nightmares of starting down the aisle, and realizing she is wearing only her bustier and petticoat, with black shoes. ;-} She _knows_ I'll pull this off, but....
Be sure to leave plenty of room for putting the dress on over her head without mussing her hair/headpiece. Really, too long is not a big deal. Of course, you don't want it hanging off the bottom of the dress. ;-\
