Kate, Every year for the past 30+++ I have said I would make stockings - and I never do. I do not buy them either I just end up with none. You have 'totally' inspired me to start some for this year -- right now!!!!! I have gone into the stash and come up with fabric and trim and have even decided on the shape for 2 of them already. Tonight when the madhatters are asleep I will sew!! I think I will even use the old Singer - mine is not a treadle but it is old (1930's - 1940's I think) so I will pretend.
