So sorry to hear about your granddaughter. If she is having trouble remembering the specifics of the incident than she definitely had a concussion. They don't always show up on x-rays, CT scans or MRIs.

I'm so happy for you and your family, I know this was a very difficult time for you.

I didn't travel this summer, but I did go to the dessert SW canyons in April. According to DD this morning, DGD is still hurting, and the docs say absolutely no dancing or soccer until November at the earliest. She is also unable to practice the flute and bassoon (new instrument for her). :-(

Beverly,

I am so sorry to hear of your DGD's injury and send all my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Of course you will finish the outfit, she will need it soon and will be cheered by the thought.

Thank you! She is much cheered by all the get-well messages from alt.sewing folks, I call and read them to her.

THANKS! Needless to say, she is 'chomping at the bit' about driving again. Her doctors will tell her when and her DH of over 30-years will make certain she follows the directions. Emily

Poor baby! That is not so long for us seniors, but devastating to a teen. (((((HUGS))))) to her, her Mom & Grandmother. Emily

I'm sure she will follow doctor's advice and not put everyone else on the road in jeopardy. ;-}
