Overlocker timing?

When I thought my serger timing was out, I just put new blades ( from A1 Sewing Machine ) on and it works like a charm.

Look, I know this is a hard thing to do :)

However, I've successfully timed this thing myself, simply by looking at it and figuring out how the stitch must be put together (I've got the type of brain that likes this sort of problem). I could do so again, but wanted to save a bit of time by seeing if I could find a site that outlined the principals (also to double-check I was correct the last time I did this, it's been a while).

If anyone knows of such a site, a link would be appreciated.

CAUTION! In 4 tries I have not been able to get a saved download of this. During the last 2 my new Pentium 4 Prescott hot machine spontaneously rebooted in mid download. Once, the last 2 pages started to show on the screen, then vanished, though the download seemed to be proceeding. After this bizarre behavior I ran a virus check, F-Prot told me I had a boot-sector infection called Michelangelo A, from the 1990's, which will reformat my hard drive on March 6 if I haven't cleaned it out by then (2 tries have failed).

I don't know if any of these observations are connected.

But I really want the last 2 pages of that manual, with pictures yet!

This computer is (and always has been) clean. It has had 2 paranoia virus scans in the last 24 hours, the last one an hour ago. Still clean.

That particular virus is transmitted by infected floppy. I found that floppy this morning and disinfected it. I believe its Compuclap(R) came from a '586 that quit late last year.

I retract my suspicious thoughts about Sailrite.com. However, there may be a problem with their server.
