Today I found a new-looking Pfaff 1209 at the Thrift Store - hope it works as good as it looks & sounds ! One hitch - I'm pretty sure it came with the incorrect bobbin case - it won't latch at all with a "normal" bobbin < 12 mm ? >
- it will latch with a thin bobbin <10 mm ? > but even with the thinner bobbin it still binds / rubs enough to prevent the bobbin thread from feeding properly. The Amazon bobbin case 9076 looks almost identical on the outside but dfferent on the inside to the one that came with the machine ..

'll visit the sewing machine shop tomorrow to compare.
If anyone is familar with this make / model series and has any comments or suggestions - I be happy to hear them. It's my first Pfaff.
