Kate have you ever been to a fabric shop called Joel and Son in Church St in London (can't remember which district now)?
Have just seen some fabric that a friend bought there - drop dead gorgeous, but so was the price - 4 pieces for GBP400. Apparenlty this place supplies fabric for some of QEIIs gowns. My firend says it's worth a trip to London just to see this one shop.
