Purse Pattern

I went to my local Goodwill store and found a marvelous purse/pocketbook/handbag. It is homemade of denim material (blue background, white stars) and has two straps. When the purse is "unfolded" it looks like a duffel bag, although not as big. The straps are on each end of the duffel bag, with a zipper running between them. The outside and inside pockets are just underneath the straps. To fold the purse, the straps come together and are joined by a piece of velcro. This makes it easier to carry and it looks like a regular purse. I love it and want to make one in a different fabric. Would anyone be familiar with a purse pattern like this? I tried Carol's Carryalls but hers is different; doesn't have the zipper in the middle and that's the biggest plus for me.

Reverse Engineer it. There are two methods of reverse engineering, one leaves the origional intact, the other doesnt....

The method that doesnt... take it completly apart, and trace the pieces onto cheap $3 per yard cotton canvas, to keep on file for later as a pattern/template.
