I Katherine. For a nominal fee, you can download an instruction manual for just about any sewing machine, new or old, at the following website:

've downloaded two manuals, one for an old Viking machine and theother for an old Bernina sewing machine. I just paid through Paypaland purchased the electronic copy versus a hard copy. It wasstraightforward, easy and secure. Hope this helps!!
