ARGH!! Ok, enough already...even though I didn't weigh in on this last topic degeneration.....I was following it, and though I don't think we need to bring it up again, it's nice to know that somebody else out there has a warped sense of humor.

Nah....it's for a week and I wouldn't leave her "topside" alone that long. It's one of our last family vacations together. It's only two years till she graduates and then...who knows, maybe she won't have time to go on vacations with us anymore. I would rather find an alternative that we can ALL do......even though I would be a bit sad to "waste all that planning." Besides....maybe things will still work out. And if not, I am sure we will have a grand time doing something else. Or, I have also made reservations 2 years ago for Phantom Ranch in August....we can always fall back on that hike.....but it wouldn't be as challenging and I have done that main corridor route 4 times. If we do that we can take my 67 year old Mom again though. Nice steak dinner waiting at the bottom!!! Something to consider. Joy
