wow...mail delivery..got 3 of us and got us good!!

So, when we first got Brady, Karen was talking about making a HUG for Brady, and a few days ago she sent me an IM saying that she had finished his HUG and was sending it to me. Well, today the mailman rang the doorbell but headed back across the street before I answered the door.

Huge honking box sitting on the doorstep. SO, I opened it up and pulled layer after layer of fabric out!!! Goodness me, quilt after quilt after quilt!!!! SO, I pulled one after another out and then called the kids down. I took pictures of each kid on their quilt and got Brady to sit on his (he's been sleeping on it since he got it), but I couldn't get the cats to stop hiding in the closets.

You guys are *so* awesome I don't even have the words for it. Thomas is sleeping on the floor with his, as is Rebekah.

I can't even begin to tell you how I feel...I've already smoothed all of them out and read the signatures and re-read them. Ken has looked at his and said he thinks he will take it to his office - Air Conditioning is bipolar.

Wow...just wow

Larisa, who might write more when I have the words

Larisa, I'm smiling all over thinking about you and your wonderful "gang" enjoying those quilts. Hope you always feel "hugged".

THAT'S what I was waiting to hear! : ) I always worry when mailing quilts, and this time there was a lot more to worry about. Everyone contributed so wonderfully. Indeed, you are in our hearts and prayers, the whole family of you. So glad they have arrived and are doing their job.

Karen, Queen of Squishies looking forward to the pics also

and trying to get things ready for the fairs, there is fabric and stuffing and thread all over just about everything. And the places that aren't covered by those things have lots of gold and white fur on them from DHs cat, Nugget, who apparently decided my office is a safe place from the children. I am in massive cleaning mode today while I try to make multiple phonecalls (about car insurance, fall craft fair, state fair questions), not to mention getting the kids to do their schoolwork, take their vitamins, eat their lunches, and clean their rooms enough so that I can get a vacuum in there!!

If they decide to sleep on their floors again, I will sneak in with the cameras...they looked so cute last night!! Bek decided to sleep on top of her HUG, but Thomas slept on his snugglebag and used his HUG as a blanket...they looked so precious!! Even Brady slept on his - with his paws on his "new baby" that Cindy made....too funny...but they were all happy and calm for once, so maybe there really are special powers in HUGs.

Larisa, who spent a LOT of time yesterday just holding, admiring and reading all the blocks
