A HUG in use!

Hi Guys, Last Friday night was DH's company Christmas party. Mike Dupre & his DW (Little Mike who received the HUG I made for him earlier this year) were at the party. They thanked me personally for the HUG and said I should make sure to post their sincere thanks to the group and to tell everyone that they use the HUG daily. It's on their bed and used as the spread! It was so nice to get to meet them both and talk to them. I spoke mostly with Mike and he was absolutely flummoxed at the thought that the blocks for his HUG had come from all over the world. He and his DW told me time and again to make sure I let everyone know how much this quilt means to them both. What a wonderful holiday gift for me -- to know for certain that a HUG is loved and appreciated for it's TRUE meaning :-)! So often people don't want to use quilts that have been made for them. How sad that is for the person and the quilt! It's so nice to know a HUG recipient is using the quilt and getting the love that was put into it!!!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<
