Just had to show off this gown, its for a girl who is graduating grade 12, the base design is from V2801 with a few changes she wanted. I have a bit more work to do on it, but I couldn't wait to show off! I really enjoyed working with her.......exact opposite from any other customers I have had, she was excellent and could imagine how things would look......what a relief! She had lots of great ideas and would come for an emergency fitting any day after school, I just had to call her!
The Red Carpet Gown!
Michelle, I honestly think that is one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen. It just looks like the fabric was meant for that dress.
I'm drooling!

Gorgeous. I can't wait to see the back.

Beautiful dress, and the girl is gorgeous in it. RED is my favorite color. Now I'm anxiously waiting to see the back and some close-ups. Emily
Preety girl, Lovely dress . Well done Michelle

Nice one! Sometimes one really good customer like that can make up for a whole slew of iffy ones! Bit like teaching really, where one good class can make up for all the d*ck-head refuzniks! ;P
Michelle, (I am so glad you had a great experience with a wonderful customer. It "refuels" your "inner seamstress" and makes the whole process so much more enjoyable. To not only have a pleasant person to work with....but also have the dress come out just how you wanted....you must be on top of the world! (It doesn't hurt that she is pretty and her body isn't riddled with fitting disaster zones...... and just happens to look wonderful in your already beautiful dress!!!) Even the shoes she chose complete the look perfectly. WOW! The fabric looks like silk.....slippery? Was it hard to work with? Joy

Actually it was some sort of poly stretch satin.....very thick and not at all slippery. I barely even needed pins thankfully, I hate using them unless absolutley necessary. Super easy to work with on all 3 machines (walmart brother, singer from the
70's (#?) and Singer treadle 15-88). I had to work where I could when I could around the kids "schedules"Michelle Giordano
