Uniquely You Dress Form

Apr 19, 2005 2 Replies

I made a size 18 cover, struggled to get it over the foam "body" and found that the neck above the cover was so large I can't get a jacket to hang on it properly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the neck smaller? I thought about using duct tape and cinching it down to the right measurement and I'm hesitant to do that because once the duct tape is on the foam body I can't reposition it without the foam coming away with the duct tape.

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Could you try using a piece of thick elastic such as 3" wide or so? Make the length a couple inches smaller than the neck to cinch it. I don't have one of these types of dress forms but at one time had considered buying one. I got a Fabulous Fit one instead.

Something like an Ace Bandage might work too ~
