My wife and I are started to plan our home interior renovation, to include curtains, pillows and headboards for our bed. Can you recommend good websites which would help novice sewers. We are an older couple, mid 50's wanting to learn new things to help us in our home.

Mine might help you... There's basic seam information there, some stuff about various sewing machines I own/use, and the household section might give you some ideas too. I once did a 4 poster bed for an 800 year old house.
