I am trying to make a car seat canopy for my new baby. I am not sure how to make one and I have not found a pattern. Can someone please point me in the right direction. I have found a pattern to make a baby car seat cover and would like to make a canopy to match. Thanks.

The little pull up hood over the seat thing? For a standard rear-facing baby car seat? If this is the case, and I'm not off base, you will need the frame for it - have you got that?

a picture of what I mean. If its the pattern for one of these, and you have the frame, I can measure mine off for you, assuming the baby lets me have a quiet 10 mins!

I almost thought of doing that for one of my kids, but it didn't happen. I would have either copied the one I had, or draped the fabric over the base and handle and gone from there, as not all of the are the same.
