HC,

You need to try the marketplace n/g for this... Pop over there and I'm sure someone will help you. This n/g is not for advertising of any sort.

Not sure to which group you refer, but if you don't wish to read my posts, feel free, I placed my ad in the groups I thought relevant. Who died and put you in charge of newsgroups??? Give me your email address and I'll ask your permission next time I want to post something.

Newsgroups are run by their charter and enforced by all the active members.

The charter for this particular newsgroup says that no ads are to be allowed except in rec.crafts.textiles.marketplace.

Usenet is not a free-for-all and it has social rules ("netiquette," that is, "internet etiquette") about what it and isn't acceptable, the same as club or group you would attend in person. If you do a Google search on "usenet netiquette" you will find lots of helpful sites that will explain what good Usenet netiquette is, but I can highly recommend Roadmap:

particularly lessons 7 and 8, as a concise, easy-to-understand starting point to learn not only about the internet, but what is considered good internet manners (i.e., good netiquette).
