Hello, Well I posted this a little bit ago and go figure, someone else is selling their Nova also!! His is out west and I am in Kentucky. My Christmas present (Vicmarc VL300) will be arriving this week so my Nova has to go. It is the 1 HP model, change speeds by moving the belt on the pulleys. For tech specs etc see the Teknatool site. Of course it includes the original stuff that came with it (faceplate, drive and live centers, etc). Also I am including a plywood stand with about (+/-) 400 pounds of sand in it, the DVR tailstock, and an extra motor which has never been used. The motor that is on it has only been in use for about two weeks. I put a VFD and a three phase motor on it when I bought the lathe but those are going on the Vic so I put the original motor on it so I can sell it. The spare motor was aquired a while back and has never been mounted and it is the same as the one that is presently on the lathe now. I have had this lathe for just over a year (6 December 2002). I have pics of it in use so it is kind of dirty. I'm going to clean it up tomorrow and take some pictures then too. I have no regrets about the lathe and was/am perfectly happy with it. I bought it after researching mainly on this site and have had no regrets, especially once I put the DVR tailstock on. But, the wife offered a new toy for Christmas so yeh I went for the heavy metal.
