I just received my new Woodcraft Catalog and I didn't see the Nova Mercury. Has it been discontinued?
What happened to the Mercury.

I has by Woodcraft. Many complaints about it being way underpowered.

I believe it was a combination of two things. 1) poor sales due to its enemic motor and 2) the cost was increasing above what Woodcraft wanted to pay (and keep the retail price competitive). I liked everything about that lathe except its poor motor. I had one and after a year of practically nothing but pen turning, the motor siezed.
