finish for maple burl

Hi, I'm a newbie and I've just turned my first piece of maple burl. What would folks recommend for a finish on this beautful wood?

Any type of oil finish will do well, I prefer 3 or 4 coats of danish oil then buffed well. Anthony N3MQM

I'm a big fan of tung oil... This link will show its effect on a Manitoba Maple (box elder) burl piece I turned recently:
