Read the full replyAny suggestions as to how to go about sharpening gouges on a bench grinder. I have a Ryobi 4 x 36" and can stand it vertical also. Anyone suggest freehanding it or better to set up a jig or something else. I currently have 80 grit set up.... would this work or need 120 grit? Would you clean up the inside of the gouge with a dowel and sandpaper? Any web sites with pics apprectiated.
