Peter,
They are definitely in business. I sent them an e-mail asking about their mini handle and got a prompt reply. Seems like there were backorder problems with the handle and the U.S. companies selling it. I am hoping to receive the handle this week and will then have a chance to use their hollowers. I've never heard anything bad about them.
Hope this helps,
Harry
I have the Large Hollowing rig and the Bowl Saver system as well as the hollowing tool rest and a few other things - all tools from Kelton are excellent.

I use Kelton tools quite a bit and they are very fine tools. I love the center savers and hollowers. I use the handles quite a bit for other tools. They have been good investments. here is the link to Kelton:

Peter,
Yes, Kelton is still in business. Let me know if you have an specific questions about the tools. I will be at the Utah Symposium and Craft supplies "Super Wednesday" before the symposium. Kel McNaughton and I will be on the Craft Supply booth at the AAW symposium.

As you've read, Kelton is very much around. You can find their products in the catalogs of some of the heavy hitters in the woodturning and woodworking fields, including Lee Valley, Woodcraft, and Craft Supplies, as well as places like Cutting Edge Tools and The Woodtradesman.
Just to echo what others have said, Kelton makes some of the best tools of their kind. I've posted several reviews of their tools and will have a couple of more in the works. You are very unlikely to be dissapointed in anything you purchase from them. If you care to read what I have said about them, some pdf's of some past reviews I did for More Woodturing can be found here:

After visiting their web page and seeing the last update was December
2001, I assumed then that had stop production, and after sending them an email and not getting a reply just confirmed my initial thoughts. But it's great to hear they are still in business. Thanks everyone once again.I have the "Large" set of Kelton Hollowers. They are quite simple in construction and work very well. Also are easy to sharpen.
