I have won a commission for a number of turned items to be sent to Berlin. I need to place sticky labels on the bases but cannot find a translator service on the internet that can translate "Woodturner" there must be a word for such, can anyone help?

Each can do but little! But if each DID that little, ALL would be done!

Drechsler is turner. Holz is wood. Frank Morrison

A woodturner would be a Drechsler, a wood lathe a Drechslebank, and wood turning would be Holz drechsln.

the following page has several translators.http://translation.langenberg.com/ Every translation website I went to gave me a different response for wood turner and lathe-turner.

I got der Drechsler for wood turner on dict.leo.com.

Mel

Drechsler/in m(f) for woodturner. For female turner add "in."

Leif

Not quite. A lathe is a Drechselbank (or Drehbank), and woodturning is holzdrechseln.
