hi, i need some info on a poolewood lathe i bought second hand 38/40 it has

6 speeds but i dont know the speed range , can anyone let me know what the speeds are pls , and any other info like faults that are liable to crop up with this lathe many thxs

If you can't get the manual, you can simply multiply the nominal motor speed by the pulley ratio. E.G. shaft 3 motor 1, nominal 1725 equals a speed of

575. Don't have to be precise, ratio of the outside diameters will be fine.

Try this address, I have found Poolewood to be very helpful. snipped-for-privacy@poolewood.co.uk Glenn Hodges Nashville, Georgia

The owner is Terry Davies who is very helpful
