Stave and laminated (to get me up to the desired thickness), yes. But not segmented turnings. My source is a solid surface shop that services the region. They give me their scraps and whatever else they can and I make them all sorts of things from pens and miniatures to boxes and small bowls/platters. Some of it, I know, they give to their big customers and employees. The rest I don't know.
I've always just used CA although I have no doubt that the glues actually made for it would be better. Haven't had the need to investigate that yet though.
