I re -trued the hole for the pin chuck, and when I put it on the lathe, I brushed away some dirt in the recess. "9/8/87" I used to write a date on them back then.
Turned to 11 x 6 with a fast taper to a heavy 2 1/2 base. Popcorn bowl.
It does have some well-developed color.
