Does anyone know where I can find any Supernova (not Supernova2) chucks for sale? I'm trying to save a few bucks here. I have a Supernova and really do like it. Want a couple more so I don't have to keep switching out jaws. My local Woodcraft has one but with insert they want over $200 for it! Even used would be OK if not tore up and if I could pick it up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Guy

The first and only chuck I own (other than a Jacobs style) is a SuperNova. I bought it when I purchased my lathe and other than having the left loosey - righty tighty reversed I have been well pleased with it. I'd like to clean it up a bit and was wondering if just a good blast of air would do it.
Works. I like WD40, the all-purpose gunk cleaner afterward.
Of course, I don't do a lot of sanding near the chuck, so it's a rare job.
