I have just returned from a short holiday in the area of the subject town and noticed that there is a lot of building work going on and uprooting of Olive groves. There were several large stacks of ancient rootballs and trunks up to 10 inches diameter (Guesstimated) not far from the roadside.
Since it would have meant too much in excess baggage I left them there but to me it is veritable Gold mine just waiting for the right person on the ground!
