Hello to the group I am going to be in the Bramton Ontario area the 24th of May for a day and was wondering if there are any places that aperson could get some turning stock the a country boy could find easy. I am not looking for a large amount as space for transport back home to B.C. is limited. Thanks to all I really enjoy lurking and seeing what goes on with this group.Cheers Dave

Driving?
If so, which route?
Will be following the Trans Canada all of the way across, once in Ontario not sure yet as I am traveling with someone else. Dave
If you decide to come south shore Superior, through the states (M28) I can fill you up.
Drove trans-Canada from Sault Ste Marie to BC myself, many years ago. Wonderful trip. The 1100 miles of gravel Alaska Highway were quite a thrill, though....
Thanks for the offer George , we are hauling a semi load of elecronic parts, so I think we will probably stay on this side of the boarder. When you drove through Kamloops B.C you went right past my house, let me know if you are ever back this way and I will send some wood home with you. Dave
You might be one of the few haulers who stay north. Have to say over half the truck traffic registries are Canadian on our E-W arteries .
Sounds like you'll have to stop at one of those roadside restaurants and ask about local sawmills.

====.> You drove from the Soo to BC via the Alcan??? Interesting detour! Did you take a wrong turn?*G*
