Turning by leftys

I wish you all the best in your endeavors. As a rightie I've learned to turn left-handed for a number of occasions. I would think a leftie would be equally well served learning to turn a bit right-handed (if he/she doesn't do so already with the RH configuration of lathes).

What issues do you see lefties having that would be better served by a group focusing on their handedness?

====>Sounds sort of "elitist" to me! Whatever happened to "liberté, egalité, fraterniteé " that "lefties are always espousing? *G*

As a spindleturner I use both hands equally. I find it unseemly difficult to make a symmetric pearl or such holding the iron only from one side.

As a member of the correct-handed side, and having many friends and family members with the handicap of being right-handed, I'd find very little interest in your proposed group..

Never run with scissors or sharpen a gouge past the handle....
