I've loaned my brother a Jet mini and a set of garage sale Sears tools, and wished him Good Luck. Now that he's getting into it & really liking it, he'd really appreciate some instruction.
Is there anyone in the Waco, Texas, area who would invite him over for a session? (He's actually closer to West, Texas) I don't see any AAW Chapters nearby.

At the SWAT symposium in Temple last month there seemed to be an effort going on to start a group up in that area. I'm down in Austin, the north side actually. Basically Round Rock. If he's willing to come this far, I'm willing to do a session. I'm one of the volunteer instructors for our club and do this sort of thing anyway.
Homestead Heritage has 1 day and 2 day classes. They are located about
